Multi-FamilyNew ConstructionParking Structure

Since 1976, Gibbs Construction has been the team behind the buildings where we all work and play, grow up, grow smart, and grow old. We're the hardhats you've seen on almost every campus, on every corner. The group behind the Superdome re-skin. The Smoothie King Arena. The Audubon Institute's Cool Zoo. The Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport. We work to ensure that every project we touch truly becomes part of the neighborhoods we love.

Gibbs Project View

625 St. Charles Condominiums was a newly constructed luxury condominium development located adjacent to Lafayette Square in downtown New Orleans.

Gibbs’s involvement in this lump sum contract with the owner began in the design phase with preconstruction services.

The construction of this high-rise building included cast-in-place concrete floors with post-tensioned reinforcement on precast piles.  The exterior facade showcases the extensive masonry work, the application of concrete cornices and the installation of an aluminum glass curtain wall system.

Thirty-five upscale units boast floor-to-ceiling windows, hardwood and marble flooring, custom carpentry, and sophisticated finishes per individual owner’s request with four levels of secure tenant parking garage space below. Spacious penthouse units equipped with large balconies overlook the St. Charles Avenue Streetcar line. Additionally, a reception hall, indoor lap pool and sauna, weight room, and two-story retail build-out were included in the construction scope.

625 St. Charles Condominiums centrally located steps away from restaurants, hotels, wine bars, museums and art galleries, has added a grand living option for New Orleanians.
