Experienced Estimator

Job Summary

The Estimator is responsible for gathering, calculating, and compiling data and information for use in estimates and bid proposals. The Estimator will solicit pricing from subcontractors and material suppliers, perform detailed quantity takeoffs, and compile estimates. Contributes to the maintenance of current and accurate cost data by obtaining prices from vendors, material suppliers and subcontractors. Interacts with owners and A/E’s regarding prospective projects, to seek clarification on construction documents and to provide cost data for their use. The Estimator shall display abilities to maintain schedules, be organized and multi-task on several projects or bid assignments as projects develop. Demonstrates professional communication skills and possesses the ability to understand complex ideas and concepts.


Education and Experience

  • Four-year construction-related degree
  • Five to 10 years construction-estimating experience
  • Proficient personal computer skills including Microsoft Suite, On-Screen Takeoff, and Bluebeam

Assistant Superintendent

Job Summary

The Assistant Superintendent is responsible for assisting the primary Superintendent with coordination of field activities in order to complete the project safely, on time, in budget and per plans and specs. Ensures all required material, equipment and inspections support the project schedule. Uses inherent intuition, intelligence, experience, skills to ensure projects are built with quality, professionalism, and integrity consistent with company vision, values, and culture.


Education and Experience

  • Experience in layout required
  • Three to 10 years of related experience and/or training in the construction field
  • Basic personal computer skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management preferred
